How do you embed Google Sheets?
Embedding shows a spreadsheet, chart, or range inside a website, Notion page, or Google Site without sending visitors to the full Sheets UI. You usually publish to web or use an iframe with a link Google generates, combined with sharing permissions that match your audience.
When to use it
Embed when you want a live chart on a team intranet, a read-only pricing table on a landing page, or a dashboard slice inside documentation that updates when the sheet updates.
When to skip it
Do not embed sensitive data with public publish links. If viewers should not download the whole file, consider a chart-only embed or a web app with tighter access control.
