So let's make a brick pattern in Google Sheets. We're going to need to change the size of our cells . I'm gonna select all of the columns and resize columns. Let's try like a one to three ratio. But we can edit that later. You'll see. So we're gonna do 30 wide, and then the rows, we're gonna resize these rows to 20. Then at the very top, let's take B and C one. We're gonna merge these, so we're just gonna click this. Merge Cells . Now these are merged. Now we're gonna go to C two and D two. We're gonna merge those as well. I'm actually gonna copy and paste this, so it essentially does the exact same thing. And then I can do command Y as well, or copy paste. And what I'm trying to do is get this pattern to look a little correct here,

and then we'll copy and paste it across. So. Take something like this, but actually what I want to do is take, take this shift command to the right command V, copy this one as well. Shift command V, and now I have two lines, so I don't need to continue doing that. I can copy these two lines. Shift command down Command V. I need to copy it. Sorry. Command C. Command V. There it goes. And it is a subtle difference now, but let me show you what it looks like when we have a more brighter sort of border. Or darker, but actually I want to do the opposite, which I'm gonna select every single cell here and I'm going to give it a dark brown background and the border,

I'm gonna change to a lighter color. Do that all borders. There we go. We have a nice brick pattern now. Across our whole sheet. Now we can take parts of this and merge them To do that, we do command, hold on, command and then start clicking these cells and we can merge these. I actually want to un merge this part and then merge these. Merge this part. We want to put the border back out here and see. We can then take these three lines, merge them all, and write maybe some message here. Pretty cool, right? Cool. Big brick pattern here inside of our Google sheet.
