What is entire row in Google Sheets?

Entire Row describes how a formula or selection points at cells, columns, rows, or sheets in Google Sheets. References are the addresses inside formulas and the blue boxes you see when editing. Getting references right prevents #REF! errors and broken copies.

When to use it

Use entire row when writing or auditing formulas that must point at the right cells after copy, fill, or sheet changes.

When to skip it

Skip worrying about entire row when a named range, QUERY, or pivot already expresses the logic more clearly.
