So you want to rename a tab in a Google Sheet. Go to the bottom where it says Sheet 1 and this is the name of the tab. You can click the and Rename. One other way you can rename tab is just by going to the name of the tab and double clicking. If you go to File, Rename, this is going to rename the entire spreadsheet . There is a character limit of 100 characters, so if we have something like this which has over 100 characters, we're going to get this problem. The sheet name cannot be greater than 100 characters.
