How do you randomize a sequence ? And you can do this in Google Sheets. Actually, I need to do this a lot. Sometimes I need to randomize a number range from one to eight or one to 10 or one through a hundred, and I can definitely Google that or even use Jet GBT these days to sort of do this. But I want to do it in sheets and I want to have it right here in a sheet. So how do I do this? I'm gonna first use sequence , and sequence is going to give me a number of rows, 10. And I want one column and I wanna start on one and go with one. So I want one through 10. Now I'm gonna take that sequence and that range, and I'm gonna do command C. That's copy or right click copy. And then I'm going to do right click paste, special values only or command shift v.
Now that formula has gone away. So I have the numbers one through 10 and I can highlight them and I can go up to data and I can go to randomized range . Now I can do this any number of times. Maybe there's some particular randomized range you want, maybe you want it really random. And I also can do command y. Command Y is just redo just doing the same thing over and over again. So I'm just gonna click that a few times. And I have a randomized range here, and I think that's a really cool way to randomize a sequence . You are watching better sheets here on YouTube.
