In this video, I'm gonna show you how to highlight today's date, but I'm also going to show you how to highlight it for the entire row . Let's start with a blank sheet. We're gonna go up to format Conditional formatting . We want to apply Range A Colon A. Our format Rules is going to change to date is it'll automatically have today. We can change the color here and we're gonna change the text to white. Click Done, and you'll notice that the date itself is highlighted. This will change automatically tomorrow to the next date. But what if we want to apply this to the entire row ? Let's go back to our conditional formatting , and change our range to A colon B. And instead of format cells if date is, we're going to change it to custom formula is. Our formula is equal sign, dollar sign, A1, equals today, parentheses, open and parentheses, closed.
