we wanna highlight every other column automatically. Let's go up to format . Conditional formatting gonna apply to the range a colon Z or whatever your sheet is. And we're gonna do custom formula is and equals to column. Now this is checking the number of the column and we're going to wrap this with is odd. And right away you can see that the odd columns are highlighted. But if you want the even columns is even now, the even columns are colored Now you can change that color to anything you want and there you go. That's how to highlight every other column.
